In 2007, the Edgar M. Jolley Memorial Scholarship was established to assist eligible children of employees in completing their education. The scholarship rewards students who embody the spirit of EMJ’s servant leadership culture through their service to their peers and communities. The fund provides an opportunity for students who excel in both academics and community involvement.
This year, EMJ awarded the scholarship to Emma Folsom, daughter of Brad Folsom, Senior Preconstruction Manager, EMJ Construction.
Emma graduated from East Hamilton High School and will be attending Lee University where she will be pursuing a degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Pre-Athletic Training. She intends to eventually achieve a Master’s in Athletic Training.
In addition, Ryan Jaremko, Jonathan York, Colton Smith, and Asher Smith , who are children of Signal Energy employees, received scholarships. Signal Energy is a member of the EMJ Corporation family of companies.
Congratulations to all our talented recipients, and best wishes for the future!
