EMJ Construction is proud to announce the opening of two new satellite offices in El Paso, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina.
“Opening our Charlotte office is a perfect fit for EMJ and our strategy for growth,” said Jeff Brewer, Vice President, EMJ Construction. “Charlotte is experiencing tremendous construction growth. We have established some deep relationships with excellent clients in Charlotte and the Carolinas. This move is a long-term dedication to the clients and communities we serve.”
According to a recent article in the Charlotte Business Journal, the pandemic still creates uncertainty. However, John Connaughton, Barings Professor of Financial Economics at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business, issued a forecast predicting a statewide gain in gross state product in North Carolina of 4.5% this year.
Also, Wells Fargo & Co. Senior Economist, Mark Vitner, expects things to get much better in the spring and summer after a sluggish start. Vitner expects growth of 4.3%, to $518.5 billion for 2021, and 4% in 2022. North Carolina’s economy contracted by 2.8% to $497 billion last year, according to Vitner’s projected final numbers.
“We are proud to work in El Paso,” said William Mosher, Executive Vice President, EMJ Construction. “The city presents an incredible business environment, and we are excited about supporting great clients as the area continues to grow and attract new businesses.”
El Paso, Texas is also still recovering from the effects of the pandemic, but a recent study by The University of Texas at El Paso’s (UTEP) Border Region Modeling Project (BRMP) indicates that long-run prospects for the region remain favorable.
The report indicates that the population of El Paso will continue to grow, along with higher incomes per household.
With several projects recently completed or currently underway in both locations, this expansion enables EMJ to continue delivering exceptional experiences to clients, partners and colleagues across broader regions.
Let’s discuss your next project.
