EMJ’s Chattanooga team celebrated the grand opening of Nordstrom Rack in Memphis, Tenn., on Thursday, October 5.
Nearly 500 people lined up to wait for the 9 am opening of the discount designer store. Employees handed out coffee and pastries while crowds entered a raffle to win $100 Rack gift cards.
Developed by Seritage Growth Partners, the 33,000-square-foot retailer is the anchor of Poplar Commons, a 135,000-square-foot shopping center that will soon be home to other retailers including Ulta Beauty, LA Fitness, and Hopdoddy Burger Bar. This is the third Nordstrom Rack in the state of Tennessee and the eleventh store that EMJ’s team has completed.
