EMJ’s first theatre for Cinépolis, a Mexican luxury movie theater chain, opened last weekend in Euless, Texas.
EMJ began construction on the 52,000-square-foot multiplex in September 2016. The theater houses 12 movie screens, 1,300 reclining, leather seats on raised, stadium-style levels, and the second-largest screen in the Cinépolis chain.
“Our team was always there to provide value-generating options to minimize the client’s financial impact, yet still generate a high-end luxury theatre,” said George Heath, Vice President- Retail Single Tenant.
“Further, they went above and beyond to open the theater three weeks ahead of schedule.”
On Thursday, August 3, the EMJ team gathered with suppliers, vendors and city council members for a VIP cocktail event recognizing all stakeholders on the project, and a public grand opening was held the following Saturday, offering free movie tickets, games and food for more than 600 attendees.
EMJ Construction looks forward to working with Cinépolis on future theaters. Thank you to our EMJ team members that delivered an exceptional client experience and made this exemplary project possible!
