The past few weeks have been full of excitement as EMJ joined H-E-B in celebrating the grand opening of H-E-B Plano and the groundbreaking at H-E-B Alliance in Fort Worth.
On November 2nd, H-E-B officially opened the doors to its new store in Plano, Texas. Customers eagerly awaited to get inside the 118,000-square-foot store to experience all that this location has to offer.
“We are humbled by the Texas-sized welcome from the Frisco and Plano communities and grateful for the enthusiasm many new customers are showing to our Partners, who are working hard to provide the level of service H-E-B is known for,” said Stephen Butt, H-E-B Board Member and President – Central Market Division.
The Plano store has distinctive features such as a True Texas BBQ, H-E-B’s lauded barbecue restaurant that was named best barbeque chain in Texas by Texas Monthly and a top barbecue chain in the nation by Thrillist; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru; and Home by H-E-B home décor department featuring furniture, woven textiles, and accent pieces from the Haven + Key and Texas Proud collections. EMJ is also working with H-E-B as the general contractor for locations in McKinney and Fort Worth.
On November 16th, H-E-B broke ground on their new store in Fort Worth, Texas. H-E-B Alliance will join two Central Market locations, as well as H-E-B Mansfield in north Tarrant County.
“EMJ has been our construction team on this project and several others, and we couldn’t have carved out a dry spot today without them,” said Mabrie Jackson, Director of public affairs, H-E-B. “Thank you for the enthusiasm that you share with my team, I know particularly all the time we look forward to working with you on a project.”
The Alliance store will be located at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway on the northern edge of Fort Worth and is set to open in late spring 2024.
Some of the features the 117,000-square-foot store will include are a true Texas BBQ restaurant, H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, and a H-E-B Wellness Primary Care clinic. Read more here.
