Overview
This two-phase, 301,000-square-foot project is a development by Stream Realty Partners. EMJ’s work included the construction of two multi-story office buildings and development of the 18-acre site.
On Phase II, the EMJ team engaged all structural and utility trades in full-scale Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination. This entailed early collaboration with subcontractors to create 3D models of all concrete, structural steel, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. EMJ, subcontractor representatives, and designers met prior to and throughout the construction process to review the models and address construction challenges. In total, 195 conflicts were resolved through this early collaboration, resulting in an accelerated schedule and prevention of rework.
