Overview
EMJ performed multiple additions, renovations and site work on the campus of this large, metropolitan hospital. EMJ’s scope included the construction of a multi-story, 166,000-square-foot medical office building and a new emergency department with surgery rooms, recovery areas and 42 beds.
Our team also constructed another 155,000-square-foot expansion and 33,000-square- foot renovation that included 93 patient rooms, operating rooms, cath labs, stress test areas, CT, X-ray and MRI capabilities, and a 368-space poured-in-place parking garage.
EMJ also renovated the existing hospital, upgrading the maternity wing, administration areas, chapel and gift shop. The hospital remained open and fully operational throughout the duration of the 14 phases with each phase requiring a separate state inspection and certification.
