Overview
The University of Memphis’ University Center in Memphis, Tenn., is a three-story structure located on the main campus with a partial mechanical penthouse on a fourth floor. EMJ demolished the previous structure to build the new center featuring a spectacular sky-lit atrium, a 24-hour Technology Hub computer lab, student organization and support offices, a 1,000-seat dividable ballroom, meeting and conference rooms, and a 350-seat theater. The food court on the ground floor consists of a Burger King Whopper Bar, a Taco Bell Express, a Miso noodle, rice and sushi restaurant, Topio’s Classic Pizza, Bistro Nineteen Twelve, and Tiger’s of Memphis restaurant.
