OVERVIEW
This project was a 420,000-square-foot complete interior demolition and renovation of Unum’s office building in Downtown Chattanooga. With almost 3,000 workers in the local office, Unum is one of Chattanooga’s largest employers.
The phased restack and renovation of this seven-story building included new walls, storefront, finishes, cabinetry, and additional details to establish a modern look and concept for Unum’s corporate headquarters.
Features of the new workspace include walking work stations, open space meeting areas, meditation and mothers’ rooms, a coffee shop, and a micro-market sourced by local vendors.
